Krasnoyarsk Economic Forum 2023
In 2023, the Krasnoyarsk Economic Forum was held from March 1 to March 3. The Forum hosted more than 7,100 participants who joined the discussion platforms in offline and online formats.
The online broadcasts of the forum were watched by 2.55 million people: users in 40 countries of the near and far abroad, including the United States, several European countries, Asian and Latin American countries, joined the viewing.
The forum program includes events within the framework of youth, main business and gastronomic programs – a total of 82 formats, including formats for discussing the Strategy of socio-economic Development of Siberia until 2035. KEF field expert studios were organized in Moscow, Astana and Beijing.
This year, 69 agreements were signed at the Krasnoyarsk Economic Forum for a total amount of declared investments of 569 billion rubles, which is an absolute record for the KEF in recent years. The largest was a cooperation agreement between the government of the Krasnoyarsk Territory and Gazprom Nedra LLC in the amount of 182 billion rubles.
The Krasnoyarsk Economic Forum traditionally acts as a platform where major investment projects are presented. Within the framework of KEF-2023, a number of new presentation formats were organized: presentation of investment projects of the Siberian Federal District, which was attended by representatives of nine Siberian regions; presentation of the investment potential of the Republic of Tyva; presentation of the investment potential of the regions of Yenisei Siberia to foreign delegations; presentation of new technologies of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, where developments in the fields of IT, industry, road safety and medicine.
The gastronomic program has become a new business format of the Krasnoyarsk Economic Forum. The leaders of the country's professional gastronomic community met on discussion platforms to present the formation and development of local hospitality brands, as well as to discuss the personnel policy of the restaurant industry in the Siberian regions. The invited experts of the KEF gastronomic program were White Rabbit Family brand chef Vladimir Mukhin and restaurateur, founder of the Russian Restaurant Festival Alexander Sysoev. As part of an open dialogue, they discussed the future of the Russian gastronomic industry together with the participants.
The cuisine of Siberia in all its diversity was presented at the forum site for three days. The organizers prepared a location in the form of a wooden boat filled with river stones, where delicious dishes from Siberian natural products were presented. The main part of the ingredients are gifts from Siberia: lingonberries, sea buckthorn, pine nuts, caviar, village dairy products, rare types of fish and meat. In addition, during the days of the forum, leading restaurants in Krasnoyarsk offered themed sets to guests.
Traditionally, the business program of the forum was accompanied by events within the framework of the KEF-FEST. The sports program was presented by master classes and a digital golf tournament, friendly football and basketball matches, as well as a charity race "The Good Five", which was attended by 466 people. The days of the forum were also full of cultural events: a performance by world ballet star Sergei Polunin and a creative evening by Nikita Mikhalkov were organized for the guests; theatrical productions were presented in Krasnoyarsk theaters, and the Surikov Art Museum hosted an exhibition "In the Land of the Emerald Buddha" dedicated to the 125th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Russia and the Kingdom of Thailand.
