Due to the cascade of hydroelectric power stations and the network of thermal power plants, the region is energy surplus - it produces more electricity than it consumes.

Today, the regional investment portfolio includes over 160 initiatives with an investment volume of about 2.6 trillion rubles over the next 10-15 years.
