Production of amorphous graphite

Creation of production facilities for the extraction and processing of amorphous graphite. Amorphous graphite powder is used in the chemical industry, metallurgy and nuclear power engineering.

Advantages of the project:

In the Siberian Federal District, only 12 organizations are engaged in mining and production of minerals. However, only one company specializes in the production of graphite
The key consumers of amorphous graphite are EvrazHolding LLC, UralAti PJSC, Uralkhimplast PJSC and Magnitogorsk Iron and Steel Works PJSC.

Background:

• There has been a growing trend in graphite exports from Russia over the past five years
• Electrochemical tests of graphite samples from the Kurey deposit have shown the possibility of its use for the production of lithium-ion batteries
• With a decrease in the sulfur content in finished products of less than 0.1%, the products will be in serious demand in the markets of Southeast Asia (at a price of more than $1,000 per ton)
