Production of food-grade cardboard

The aim of the project is to create a modern and efficient production of food board that meets market requirements and quality standards, using advanced technologies and equipment manufactured in China.

Project background:

• The withdrawal of European food board suppliers from the Russian market caused a shortage – imports in 2022 decreased by 31% to 8.4 billion rubles. In 2022, the European Union introduced the fifth package of anti-Russian sanctions: the EU decision included a ban on the export and import of paper, cardboard and pulp
• The catering market has changed its structure significantly since 2021. Most of it is now controlled by fast food establishments — their trade turnover in the Russian Federation in 2022 increased 2 times more than that of restaurants. There has been an increase in the e-commerce market - Russians have got into the habit of ordering food delivery to work and home
• The food industry is a key segment of increasing demand in the food board market. At the moment, it is developing quite actively in Russia. According to the RAC, the growth of food packaging production will increase by 8-10% per year.
