Krasnoyarsk Territory has implemented a regional investment standard

A regional investment standard has been introduced in the Krasnoyarsk Territory. This became known based on the results of an assessment of the subjects of the Russian Federation, which involved more than 3,600 entrepreneurs with existing investment projects starting from 50 million rubles.
The regional investment standard is a project of the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation, whose task is to shorten the investor's path from idea to investment, attract business to the regions and eliminate typical obstacles in the way of entrepreneurs.
The Krasnoyarsk Territory has implemented five main elements of the standard:
• A specialized organization for working with investors has been established – the Yenisei Siberia Development Corporation, where investors are accompanied at every stage.
• An Investment Declaration has been developed, which contains the region's development strategy and the commitment of the head of the subject to ensure that business conditions do not deteriorate.
• An investment portal has been opened with information on the territorial planning of the region, the resource base, infrastructure, support measures and tariffs.
• A set of investment rules for the region has been developed – a set of specific optimized procedures governing the investor's receipt of a number of services.
• There is an Investment Committee chaired by the Governor of the region, where disputes are promptly resolved.
Experts also named the Krasnoyarsk Territory among the regions with the best practices of investment teams, and the Yenisei Siberia Development Corporation among the best development agencies.
Sergey Vereshchagin, First Deputy Governor of the Krasnoyarsk Territory and Chairman of the Government of the Krasnoyarsk Territory:
"A lot of work has been done in the region to implement the investment standard, and today we have received a worthy assessment of our efforts. However, this is not the final stage, but only one of the stages of further improvement of the investor support infrastructure. The Krasnoyarsk Territory is one of the leaders in Russia's investment development, and it is important for us to remain an attractive territory, stimulate investment volumes, and shorten investment cycles from intention to project implementation."
Olesya Ardasova, Deputy Minister of Economy and Regional Development of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, noted that the quality of the implementation of the investment standard is confirmed based on investor surveys: "It is very gratifying that the region has received a high rating. This is a lot of work in collaboration and collaboration with business associations, which will certainly continue."
From 2024, compliance with the standard will be taken into account by the Agency for Strategic Initiatives when compiling a national rating of regional investment attractiveness.
It should be added that the results of the assessment of the implementation of the regional investment standard in the subjects of the Russian Federation in 2023 were presented at the Interregional Forum "Implementation of the Regional Investment standard" in Nizhny Novgorod.
