Krasnoyarsk Territory develops cooperation with Kazakhstan

A delegation from the Krasnoyarsk Territory has visited the Republic of Kazakhstan on a business mission. The business trip was organized by the Yenisei Siberia Development Corporation together with the Export Support Center of the Krasnoyarsk Territory with the support of the Office of External Relations of the Governor of the Krasnoyarsk Territory.
65 companies participated in the events from the host country, and more than 180 meetings were held.
During the visit, a presentation of the economic and investment potential of the Krasnoyarsk Territory and the integrated investment project "Yenisei Siberia" took place. Rustam Tazhenov, Adviser to the Chairman of the Board of the Foreign Trade Chamber of Kazakhstan, addressed the participants of the event. In his welcoming speech, he noted that such meetings help to develop trade relations between Russia and Kazakhstan and maintain a constant dialogue on a very wide range of issues of interest to both countries.
The presentation was made by Sergey Ladyzhenko, General Director of the Yenisei Siberia Development Corporation. He spoke about the possibilities of localizing production facilities in the Krasnoyarsk Technological Valley and the advantages of a transport and logistics hub based on Krasnoyarsk and Cheremshanka airports. The meeting participants were also presented with the possibilities of trade and economic cooperation in the field of exports and imports between the Krasnoyarsk Territory and Kazakhstan.
Natalia Abramova, Head of the Export Support Center for the Krasnoyarsk Territory, presented export offers for small and medium-sized businesses in the Krasnoyarsk Territory, as well as support measures and tools for entrepreneurs.
One of the key events within the framework of the business mission was the contact exchange, where representatives of the regional delegation agreed on cooperation with companies from Kazakhstan. 16 regional companies that work in the fields of forestry, wholesale and retail trade, agriculture, geological exploration and others took part in the contact exchange. Several b2b meetings were organized for each participant with business representatives from Kazakhstan who were potentially interested in import and export operations in their respective industries.
It should be recalled that in 2023, the representative office of the Yenisei Siberia Development Corporation in the Republic of Kazakhstan began operating in Astana. The main purpose of the representative office is to promote the establishment, development and expansion of foreign economic activity in Yenisei Siberia with the regions of the Republic of Kazakhstan and Central Asia.
