A new resident of the Arctic Zone of the Russian Federation (AZRF) in the Krasnoyarsk Territory, UNIRON LLC, plans to open a fitness center in the Talnakh district of Norilsk as part of an investment project. The company received the status of a resident of the Arctic zone with the assistance of the Yenisei Siberia Development Corporation and the Norilsk Development Agency.
The estimated investment in the project is 5.12 million rubles. As a result of the project, it is planned to create 14 new jobs. The AZRF regime will enable the company to enjoy tax benefits throughout the entire period of the investment agreement.
Renat Besaev, CEO of UNIRON, said that the new 1.5 thousand square meter fitness center will house a gym, group program rooms, locker rooms and showers.
"The demand for physical education and sports services in Norilsk is growing. At the same time, this niche is practically not occupied in Talnakh," Renat Besaev noted. – By the end of September, we will have to purchase, deliver, and install equipment: treadmills, ellipses, a rowing machine, an escalator, exercise bikes, barbells, and more. We want to open the fitness center on October 1. We plan to receive up to 700 visitors per month. Both one-time classes and 1-month season tickets will be available for them."
The AZRF is the largest economic zone with a single set of tax and administrative preferences for investment activities. Currently, 29 residents are implementing their projects in the Arctic zone of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, and the total investment is 37.2 billion rubles.
The Yenisei Siberia Development Corporation and the Far East and Arctic Development Corporation signed an agreement aimed at implementing joint projects in the field of sustainable development of the Arctic territories of the Krasnoyarsk Territory. The document provides for the joint development of recommendations to improve the quality of life of the population, as well as joint participation in activities related to the implementation of investment projects in the Arctic region.
Applications for the status of a resident of the Russian Arctic are submitted on the Investment Portal of the Arctic Zone of Russia. When registering, the applicant must specify the basic parameters of the planned project, after which they can access their personal account, which contains the forms of documents required to obtain the status of a resident of the Russian Arctic.
