To attract investors to the region and organize a dialogue with businesses that are ready to create new jobs – cooperation with the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs will help the Krasnoyarsk Territory solve these key tasks.
The document was signed today by the president of the union Alexander Shokhin, the head of the Krasnoyarsk Territory Mikhail Kotyukov and the chairman of the SPP of the region Yuri Vasiliev. The event was opened by a meeting of the Coordinating Council of the branches of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs in the Siberian Federal District.
The cooperation provides for the implementation of the strategy of socio-economic development of the region until 2030, the introduction of modern technologies to increase labor productivity. Special attention will be paid to assistance in training highly qualified specialists and workers, including creating a comfortable environment for them and improving their well-being.
Mikhail Kotyukov, Head of the Krasnoyarsk Territory:
"The issue of staffing the development of the economic potential of the country and Siberia in particular is becoming more important today than ever. In the current conditions, the ruble can attract specialists only for a very short period, it is necessary to create serious systemic prerequisites. In the strategy of socio-economic development of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, we have fixed a fundamentally important task – creating conditions for self-realization, improving well-being, and developing a comfortable living environment. Only in this way, working at the state level, can we create conditions for people to come to Siberia, stay and see opportunities here to realize their wildest plans and ideas."
The importance of interaction between the Krasnoyarsk Territory and the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs is particularly increasing in the context of the search for new sales markets, accelerated technology development, and solving problems related to import substitution.
Alexander Shokhin, President of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs:
"There are opportunities to implement all the urgent tasks to create a favorable business investment climate in the Krasnoyarsk Territory. We proceed from the fact that the region plays one of the key roles in turning to the east, and these are not only export corridors. This includes the development of Siberia and the Far East, and many infrastructure projects, projects in basic industries that should ensure this turnaround."
Cooperation between the region and the RSPP will expand the range of investors, which in turn will serve the development of the Siberian macroregion and ultimately strengthen the Russian economy.
It should be noted that today the Krasnoyarsk Territory is among the leaders among the regions of the Russian Federation in terms of investment activity and volume of capital investments. The region, together with Tuva and Khakassia, implements the Yenisei Siberia Project, which includes 40 business initiatives worth about 3 trillion rubles. They cover a wide variety of areas: mining and processing of minerals, the timber industry, agriculture, modernization of existing industries and infrastructure. It is the implementation of large investment projects that ensures growth in the industry and construction sector of the region. Due to this, the region is traditionally included in the top ten subjects of the Federation, forming more than half of the total GRP of Russian regions (according to 2022 estimates, the GRP of the region reached 3.6 trillion rubles), as well as in the top ten sustainable donor regions filling the federal budget.
