Sovrudnik continues work on the construction of a mining and processing plant (GOK) based on the Vysokoe deposit in the North Yeniseysky district of the Krasnoyarsk Territory. Production is scheduled to start in the third quarter of 2023. Since 2018, the investment project for the construction of the GOK has been included in the Yeniseiskaya Sibir CIP.
Currently, as part of the project, work has already been completed on the construction of the workshops of the gold extraction plant (ZIF), the installation of equipment and conveyor galleries of the crushing department has been carried out. The main amount of work on the construction of the ZIF is planned for the current year: installation, strapping and commissioning of the main technological equipment is underway. Work is also underway on the construction of infrastructure facilities, including a shift camp for 1,200 people.
Commissioning and production start-up are planned for the third quarter of 2023 at ZIF. By the beginning of 2024, the technological lines of the factory should be brought to the design performance indicators, and 2024 should be the first full year of operation of the new ZIF. It is expected that in 2024, ore processing volumes will amount to 4 million tons, which will produce 4 tons of gold.
"For the first time in the company's history, such a large investment project is being implemented," said Nikolai Gusev, head of GOK Vysokoe. – This is a completely new experience and a challenge for all of us. In the course of work, we have to face new non-standard tasks on a daily basis, the solution of which goes beyond the limits of any one professional field: organization of mining and construction of mining facilities, maintenance and operation of various types of equipment, logistical support for all work, organization of life and vital activity of a large team of employees of our divisions and contractors."
As Nikolay Gusev noted, one of the main tasks of the company is to form a team at the mining and processing plant: in general, the project will create about one and a half thousand jobs. Currently, the company has started forming a team at ZIF Vysokoe, whose employees are currently involved in the installation and commissioning of processing equipment. Currently, such vacancies as machinist, crusher, mining foreman, geologist, flotation machine, electrician and others are open at Sovrudnik LLC.
