Sergey Vereshchagin, Acting Chairman of the Government of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, held a working meeting with Natalia Voevodina, Chairman of the Board of Rosbank, within the framework of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum.
The parties discussed Rosbank's participation in the socio-economic development of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, and outlined areas in which cooperation is planned to develop.
"The economy of the Krasnoyarsk Territory has coped with external challenges and maintained the trajectory of sustainable development. Now it is important for us to consolidate this success in cooperation with partners from the financial sector. Rosbank, one of the largest participants in the Russian banking system, is one of such reliable partners. We are interested in comprehensive cooperation for the benefit of the development of the Krasnoyarsk Territory," said Sergey Vereshchagin.
Financing of significant enterprises in the region (in particular, in the field of road and infrastructure construction), cooperation in support of small and medium-sized businesses, implementation of "green financing", measures to improve financial literacy of the region's population were discussed as possible areas of cooperation.
"As a systemically important bank, it is important for us to provide strategic support and contribute to the further development of such a large industrial region as the Krasnoyarsk Territory. I would especially like to note our mutual desire to implement the ESG agenda in the territory of the region," said Natalia Voevodina, Chairman of the Board of Rosbank.
