The RN-Vankor company (part of the Rosneft oil and gas production complex) delivered more than a million tons of cargo along the Yenisei and the Northern Sea Route to the facilities of the flagship Vostok Oil project being developed at Taimyr in the Krasnoyarsk Territory.

This is a record volume of cargo, which is more than 40% higher than last year's summer delivery. The navigation campaign involved 402 sea and river vessels, which completed 923 voyages from the ports of Murmansk, Arkhangelsk, Krasnoyarsk, Lesosibirsk and Dudinka.


The supply of materials and equipment was carried out to the production bases Tanalau, Karaul, Tochino, Vorontsovo, Bay Sever, Dudinka port, as well as to the terminals Chaika, Dixon in the Yenisei Bay of the Kara Sea and the bases of the Vankor and Suzun deposits located on the Bolshaya Kheta River. A total of 21 berths were involved, including new berthing facilities at the Vorontsovo production base, where the delivery of necessary goods was organized for the first time this season.


About 120 thousand tons of various pipe products have been delivered to the facilities of the Bay North port terminal and for the Vankor – Payakha – Bay North oil pipeline under construction. In addition, equipment, wagon houses, reinforced concrete products, supports, bends, inert materials, specialized machinery and metal structures were delivered to the storage bases.


For the rapid unloading of ships at production bases, work was carried out around the clock. Up to 143 units of specialized equipment, 19 floating cranes and more than 270 slingers, crane operators, drivers and other workers were involved at the same time.
