
The RN-Vankor company (part of the Rosneft oil and gas production complex) delivered more than a million tons of cargo along the Yenisei and the Northern Sea Route to the facilities of the flagship Vostok Oil project, which is being developed in Taimyr in the Krasnoyarsk Territory.
This is a record volume of cargo, which is more than 40% higher than last year's summer shipments. The navigation campaign involved 402 sea and river vessels that completed 923 voyages from the ports of Murmansk, Arkhangelsk, Krasnoyarsk, Lesosibirsk and Dudinka.
Supplies of materials and equipment were carried out to the Tanalau, Karaul, Tochino, Vorontsovo, Sever Bay, Dudinka port, as well as to the Chaika and Dixon terminals in the Yenisei Bay of the Kara Sea and the bases of the Vankor and Suzun fields located on the Bolshaya Kheta River.. A total of 21 berths were used, including new berthing facilities at the Vorontsovo production base, where the necessary cargo was delivered for the first time this season.
About 120 thousand tons of various pipe products were delivered to the facilities of the North Bay port terminal and for the Vankor–Payakha –North Bay oil pipeline under construction. In addition, equipment, wagon houses, reinforced concrete products, supports, bends, inert materials, specialized machinery and metal structures were delivered to the storage bases.
For the rapid unloading of ships at the production bases, work was carried out around the clock. Up to 143 units of specialized equipment, 19 floating cranes and more than 270 slingers, crane operators, drivers and other workers were involved at a time.
