Krasstat has prepared a review of the socio-economic development of the Krasnoyarsk Territory in January-September 2023. The volume of investments in the region at comparable prices amounted to 613.2 billion rubles, or 13.1% increase compared to the same period in 2022.
The largest increase in the investment activity of organizations (excluding small businesses) was observed in scientific and technical activities and in metallurgical production. In metallurgy, the increase is due to an increase in capital expenditures in the production of precious metals and copper production. Investments in real estate operations and in the field of oil and natural gas production have increased.
"We continue to work on increasing investment activity. This year, our region was included in the action plan for the implementation of the Strategy of Socio-economic Development of the Siberian Federal District until 2035, approved by the Government of the Russian Federation. We have included the implementation of 20 major investment projects in key clusters totaling more than 13.6 trillion rubles, as well as the creation of more than 103.2 thousand jobs. This will create conditions for economic growth and, as a result, improve the level and quality of life of the population," said Tatyana Magdibur, Minister of Economy and Regional Development of the region.
Recall that the Yenisei Siberia Development Corporation has been identified as a specialized organization for attracting investments and working with investors in the Krasnoyarsk Territory. Currently, 188 investment projects worth 2.85 trillion rubles are being supported by the Corporation in the Krasnoyarsk Territory. Of these, 27 initiatives of large companies with a total investment of 2.4 trillion rubles are included in the comprehensive investment project "Yenisei Siberia".
