The aim of the project is to complete the construction of the only modern ultra-compact heavy machinery, machine tool and metalworking enterprise outside the Urals, which began in 2014. Currently, a co-investor is being sought for the implementation of the project, and the Yenisei Siberia Development Corporation is engaged in attracting external investments for the development of production.

To date, the project involves the expansion of the range, the number of products produced and the growth of the company's revenue by 4 times – up to 3.6 billion rubles by 2040.

The total investment in the creation of a heavy machinery complex is 13.5 billion rubles, of which 4.3 billion rubles have already been invested in the project. Currently, 4 out of 7 production workshops with a total area of more than 6,000 m2, warehouses have been built and put into operation; a unique machine park has been formed; over 500 jobs have been created. The project is planned to be implemented by 2031.

"Today, all the efforts of the enterprise are aimed at the production of serial products and the launch of its own developments on the market. The construction of the plant continues, new machines and machining centers are being put into operation, the number of engineering tasks that we will spend the coming years solving has increased many times. However, we are lucky that in such a difficult time we have more work than before, and the current situation for our company is more a plus than a minus, and the increase in production space will allow us to increase the volume of production," says Dmitry Salov, CEO of OKB Micron.
