The GOK construction project at the Vysokoye field received a positive conclusion from Glavgosexpertiza

Since 2018, Sovrudnik LLC has been implementing the investment project "Construction of a mining and processing plant (GOK) for gold production on the basis of the Vysokoe deposit in the North Yenisei district of the Krasnoyarsk Territory". The project creates 1.5 thousand jobs. The construction project of the plant is included in the KIP "Yenisei Siberia".
The purpose of the project is the industrial development of the Vysokoye gold deposit, the extraction of ore by open–pit mining, its processing at a gold extraction factory directly at the deposit to obtain the final product in the form of ligature gold. The first stage of ZIF Vysokoe is designed to process 4 million tons of gold ore per year, which will produce about 4 tons of gold annually.
The large-scale project is being implemented in conditions of considerable distance from areas with developed infrastructure. Over the past years, 80 km of highways, 2 bridges over the Teya and Uvolga rivers, 100 km of power lines, 110 kV transformer substations have been built in the conditions of the northern taiga and difficult terrain.
The project documentation received a positive conclusion from the Glavgosexpertiza of Russia.
Ruslan Tsivenko, Chief Specialist of the Department of Local Expertise on industrial facilities of the GEO Service for Industrial Facilities of the Glavgosexpertiza of Russia: "According to the project, a tailings dump is being equipped at the GOK site. This is a special facility for receiving and storing waste generated during the extraction and processing of minerals. It will be fenced with a dam. A waste disposal site and treatment facilities are provided."
In 2023, a quarry was commissioned at the Vysokoe deposit, and gold ore mining started.
In the first half of 2024, it is planned to complete the construction, installation and commissioning of the gold recovery plant. By the end of 2024, the Vysokoe ZIF will be brought to its design production capacity.
