The realization of the investment potential of the region and the support of investors were discussed at the last meeting of the Presidium of the Government of the region this year, chaired by Mikhail Kotyukov.
The head of the region stressed that over the past five years, the increase in investments in the economy of the region amounted to about 80%. According to Rosstat, in the first half of 2023, the region entered the top five in terms of investment. Such results were achieved thanks to the implementation of investment projects in the region. There are more than 100 of them in total, and almost 90% of our investment portfolio is in the Arctic zone.
In autumn, a regional investment standard was introduced in the region. This is a project of the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia. The task is to shorten the investor's path from an idea to capital investments, attract business to the region and eliminate typical obstacles in the way of entrepreneurs. In fact, this is one of the stages of improving the investor support infrastructure. So, an Investment map has been launched in the region, which helps to choose a site for the implementation of the project at the planning stage. And the set of investment rules regulates the receipt of a number of services, including connection to the power grid and obtaining construction permits.
In addition, the Yenisei Siberia Development Corporation is working with investors in the region in a "one-stop shop" mode.
Special attention was paid to the staffing of investment projects. A personnel reserve has been formed in the region specifically for this purpose. The Yeniseiskaya Sibir digital HR support platform is functioning, where you can create a resume using a template, take online testing, create a competence map and send a questionnaire to the employer. Job fairs are also held. Since 2019, 87% of the 24.3 thousand vacancies announced by investors have been filled.
Mikhail Kotyukov noted that the primary task now is to start forecasting the development of the labor market, to work together with investors for the future. The Federation sets the same task.
Mikhail Kotyukov, Governor of the Krasnoyarsk Territory: "This model needs to be prepared, it will work to strengthen national security and sovereignty. The year 2030 is very close, and we already understand who will be needed in investment projects, what competencies and basic skills will be needed. Therefore, today's students need to be shown future jobs. So that they come to the factory and see that this is an interesting job with appropriate conditions, that the city in which they are going to work is getting better every year. And I mean not only Krasnoyarsk, but other territories. The most important competition is not for investors, the most important competition today is for talented guys."
Mikhail Kotyukov also instructed to work out additional measures to attract new investors to the region.
