The Yenisei Siberia KIP will include new investment projects

A meeting was held in the Government of the region, chaired by Alexander Uss, dedicated to the implementation of the integrated investment project (CIP) "Yenisei Siberia". The participants discussed the progress of the projects included in the TRC, as well as new initiatives that will be included in the comprehensive investment project.
Currently, the Yeniseiskaya Sibir KIP includes 32 investment projects in three regions, 19 of them are being implemented in the Krasnoyarsk Territory.
"The Yenisei Siberia KIP project is in the phase of active implementation. Within the framework of most projects, work is already underway on construction sites, and a number of investors plan to enter the stage of construction and installation work in the upcoming spring and summer season," said Sergey Ladyzhenko, General Director of the Yenisei Siberia Development Corporation. – Today we can say that the mechanism of the integrated investment project "Yenisei Siberia" is in demand by other investors, therefore, a number of initiatives will be included in the KIP portfolio: these are 8 projects planned for implementation in the Krasnoyarsk Territory, with a total investment of almost 1 trillion rubles. Thus, the KIP in the territory of the three regions will include 40 initiatives with a total investment of more than 3 trillion rubles. The implementation of new projects included in the Yenisei Siberia KIP will create more than 11 thousand jobs and make a significant contribution to the socio-economic development of the region. In total, the number of new jobs created during the implementation of the Yenisei Siberia Construction Project will exceed 100 thousand: some of them are already being created in our region."
New projects included in the Yenisei Siberia KIP will be implemented in the following industries: mining, development, logistics, manufacturing, agriculture. Among the initiatives are the development of the Chernogorsky deposit, the development of the northwestern part of the Taimyr coal basin, the reconstruction of existing and construction of new capacities for the extraction of magnesite from the Kirgiteysky and Talsky deposits, the creation of a logistics park, the construction of a greenhouse plant for year–round vegetable cultivation, as well as a number of projects related to the construction of business and residential real estate in the region.
Alexander Uss supported the inclusion of new projects in the Yeniseiskaya Sibir KIP, and also noted that business support, creating conditions for the emergence and development of new initiatives is extremely important in the current economic conditions.
"Over the years, much has been done to increase the investment attractiveness of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, increase its tax potential, and ensure the creation of new jobs. Despite all the difficulties that the country and the region are experiencing now, we continue to work and expand our capabilities. The development of not only our region, but also Siberia and the country as a whole is connected with the Yenisei Siberia megaproject today. We will discuss the main prospects of this project, as well as everything that we will do in the next five years, at the Krasnoyarsk Economic Forum, which will be held in early March," the Governor of the region said.
Recall that the complex investment project "Yenisei Siberia" was initiated by the heads of the subjects and received the support of the President and the Government of Russia. The cooperation agreement within the framework of the project was signed at the Krasnoyarsk Economic Forum in 2018. The leading companies in the world markets of industrial products take part in the implementation of the instrumentation and control system.
