Companies from China are interested in cooperation with the regions of Yenisei Siberia

Representatives of the Yenisei Siberia Development Corporation paid a business visit to the People's Republic of China (PRC). During the trip, the delegation held a number of negotiations with Chinese companies, whose management expressed interest in cooperation with the regions of Yenisei Siberia. Also during the meetings, Sergey Ladyzhenko, CEO of the Yenisei Siberia Development Corporation, told partners from China about the Corporation's activities and presented support measures available to investors in the implementation of investment projects.
With representatives of the Russian Trade Mission in the People's Republic of China, the participants of the trip discussed investment projects that are being implemented in the territory of Yenisei Siberia, and growth points for exports and mutually beneficial cooperation with China. A meeting was also held with representatives of the Chinese-Russian Investment Fund for Regional Development, which aims to promote interregional cooperation between Russia and China. During the meeting, the parties discussed projects in the field of oil and coal mining, agriculture, import of medicines and medical equipment.
During the negotiations, the leadership of the Chinese International Investment Corporation Huamin expressed interest in cooperating in the implementation of projects in the supply of equipment for the mining industry and agriculture. China Timber Woodworking Corporation & Wood Products Distribution Association has shown interest in wooden house construction and cooperation with logistics companies and manufacturers of building materials.
A key event during the visit was a visit to the office of the SunHola Group Supply Chain Management, which is the largest operator of international agricultural trade in northern China. The group of companies has more than 4 thousand strategic partners; SunHola Group is an important center for the transfer and distribution of agricultural goods throughout the country, and also cooperates with more than ten embassies in China within the framework of the "One Belt and One Road" project.
"During the business trip, we reached agreements that will contribute to the development of trade and economic relations between China and the regions of Yenisei Siberia in general,– said Sergey Ladyzhenko. – For example, with Sunhola Group we have agreed to organize trial deliveries of food products from our regions to China: meat, fish, nuts, berries and others. If there is interest in our products in the Chinese market, we can count on large orders and, if necessary, investments in the expansion of our enterprises."
