"We are working ahead of the curve": the employment service has helped to employ more than 2 thousand residents of the Krasnoyarsk Territory for large investment projects

Since the beginning of the year, 2.3 thousand residents of the region have been employed by the employment service to work on the leading investment projects of the region.
Recruitment was carried out for Vostok Oil, the Southern Cluster, the Taimyr coal basin, and gold mining industries.
"For effective staffing of investment projects, we work ahead of schedule – we help to cover not only current, but also future needs. To do this, we are forming a personnel reserve, career guidance for young people, and training personnel based on the needs of enterprises. At least 80% of vacancies in investment projects are closed annually with the assistance of the employment Service," said Viktor Novikov, Head of the Agency for Labor and Employment of the Krasnoyarsk Territory.
Previously, by 2029, investment projects will require only more than 117 thousand employees. 88% of the total staffing needs have been declared from enterprises included in the Yenisei Siberia integrated investment project. For example, 4,600 job offers have now been opened on projects in Yenisei Siberia.
An employment fair will be held at the Kansk Employment Center on August 15 from 13.00 to 16.30 to provide personnel for the investment project of the Motyginsky district gold mining company, which is part of the Yeniseisk Siberia CIP. The company will offer vacancies for machinists, drivers of specialized equipment and explosives. The average salary for these vacancies is 100,000 rubles per month.
