The investment project of KizirLesProm LLC "Creation of a wood processing plant in the south of the Krasnoyarsk Territory" is included in the list of priority investment projects for the development of the forest complex. The corresponding order is published on the official portal of the Krasnoyarsk Territory. The investment project is supported by the Yenisei Siberia Development Corporation.
The volume of investments in the project is more than 3 billion rubles. The number of jobs created is 302 units. As a result of the project, the production of sawn timber from coniferous and soft-leaved wood species, wood and charcoal briquettes will be created, as well as logging will be organized. The project provides for the use of its own logging production in the amount of 200 thousand m3 per year.
In accordance with the investment project implementation plan, logging is expected to begin in the fourth quarter of 2024; the full design capacity for the production of lumber and wood briquettes is scheduled for the first half of 2028, and charcoal briquettes for the fourth quarter of 2029.
All produced lumber in the amount of about 228 thousand m3 will be exported, wood briquettes (about 20 thousand tons) and charcoal briquettes (2,880 tons) are planned to be sold on the domestic market.
