A large logistics operator intends to build a cargo handling berth on the Yenisei

The Yenisei Siberia Development Corporation and Ural Transport Company LLC have entered into an agreement to support an investment project for the construction of a terminal and warehouse complex on the Yenisei in the immediate vicinity of Krasnoyarsk (the Vostochnaya Industrial Zone site). The estimated investment volume is 450 million rubles, 73 jobs are being created as part of the project.
In 2023, Ural Transport Company LLC bought the site for the construction of the pier. At the moment, technical conditions have been obtained for connection to power supply networks, it is planned to obtain a license for development
and mining. Surveys and design work are scheduled for the first quarter of 2024. The first stage of construction work is scheduled for the third quarter of 2024.
The terminal will allow the operation of its own and commercial fleet; transshipment of goods from motor vehicles to railway transport, as well as in the opposite direction; transportation of export goods from river ports of the Krasnoyarsk Territory and their further transshipment to large-capacity sea vessels.
Ural Transport Company LLC has developed its own modification of the RKO M-SP3.5 barge, with a lifting capacity of 2.5 thousand tons with a ramp device in the stern of a new type with improved characteristics. The presence of ramps makes it possible to approach the shore, which is not equipped with berthing facilities, and allows you to organize the loading/ unloading of rolling equipment involved in geological exploration, as well as the construction of infrastructure facilities without the involvement of additional technical means.
