An investment conference dedicated to the development of the Angara macro-district of the Krasnoyarsk Territory has started in Lesosibirsk. The initiator of the investment conference was the Yenisei Siberia Development Corporation with the support of the administration of Lesosibirsk.
The conference opened with a plenary session "Investment policy of the Angara macroregion". The head of Lesosibirsk, Andrey Khokhryakov, and Deputy of the Legislative Assembly of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, Yevgeny Petrenko, addressed the participants with welcoming words.
The head of the city of Lesosibirsk Andrey Khokhryakov: "Lesosibirsk is the largest city in the Angara macroregion and ranks eighth in terms of population among the settlements of the Krasnoyarsk Territory. The Yenisei Siberia Development Corporation and the administration of Lesosibirsk signed an agreement on cooperation in the framework of the implementation of the municipal investment standard in the Krasnoyarsk Territory. The investment profile of Lesosibirsk is currently being developed. Our goal is to create all conditions for attracting entrepreneurs to Lesosibirsk who are ready to implement promising projects in various industries. The timber industry is the basis for the development of the city, the implementation of projects in this area affects economic indicators and the standard of living of the population. Lesosibirsk holds a leading position in the field of woodworking not only in the Angara macro-district, but also in the region as a whole."
Andrei Khokhryakov also stressed that the commissioning of the Vysokogorsky Bridge, the construction project of which is included in the Yenisei Siberia Construction Project, has opened up new opportunities for the city in terms of the location of logistical supply centers and terminal and logistics complexes.
Yevgeny Petrenko noted in his welcoming speech that the holding of the investment conference will allow analyzing the available opportunities for the implementation of investment projects in the territory of the Angara macro-district and making the necessary decisions at the legislative level that will contribute to the further development of the main city of Lesosibirsk.
The participants of the plenary session discussed such topics as the investment attractiveness of Lesosibirsk, the introduction of a regional investment standard in the Krasnoyarsk Territory, government measures to support business, prospects for the development of the timber industry in the Krasnoyarsk Territory, business priorities when choosing a territory for the implementation of investment projects, etc.
As part of the investment conference in Lesosibirsk, an investment session and a presentation session are also planned, where large companies operating in the Angara macro-district of the Krasnoyarsk Territory will present their needs.
