The economic and investment potential of the Krasnoyarsk Territory was presented at the XI Russian-Kyrgyz Interregional Conference

The XI Russian-Kyrgyz Interregional Conference hosted a presentation of the economic, investment and tourism potential of the Krasnoyarsk Territory.
Dmitry Volvach, Deputy Minister of Economic Development of the Russian Federation, and Director of the Kyrgyz Export Center for Export Development and Promotion addressed the participants of the event with welcoming words under the Ministry of Economy and Commerce of the Kyrgyz Republic, Urmat Takirov.
Dmitry Volvach, Deputy Minister of Economic Development of the Russian Federation: "The Krasnoyarsk Territory is the second largest region in the Russian Federation. This is a region that has traditionally been a leader in key macroeconomic and social indicators. The Krasnoyarsk Territory is traditionally one of the ten subjects of the Russian Federation, forming more than half of the total GRP of Russian regions, and last year the volume of GRP of the Krasnoyarsk Territory amounted to almost 3.5 trillion rubles. The level of investment in the region is approaching one trillion rubles: These are very good growth rates that allow us to develop the industrial potential of the region."
Urmat Takirov stressed that for the Kyrgyz Republic, Russia remains a strategic partner in all sectors of development, including a key trading partner.
Director of the Kyrgyz Export Export Development and Promotion Center under the Ministry of Economy and Commerce of the Kyrgyz Republic Urmat Takirov: "Russian regions are always open for cooperation and for building friendly relations. We hope that the result of the conference will be the planning and implementation of new projects in the fields of education, cultural exchange and, most importantly, in the economy of our country."
The first deputy head of the city of Krasnoyarsk, Roman Odintsovo, spoke about the preparations for the 400th anniversary of Krasnoyarsk: the organizational plan and the main directions of preparation.
The investment and economic potential of the Krasnoyarsk Territory was presented by Kristina Pastukhova, Deputy Director General and Head of the Investment Development Directorate of the Yenisei Siberia Development Corporation. As part of the presentation, a comprehensive investment project "Yenisei Siberia" was presented, as well as opportunities for entrepreneurs from the Kyrgyz Republic within the framework of cooperation with the Krasnoyarsk Territory.
Deputy General Director – Head of the Investment Development Directorate of the Yenisei Siberia Development Corporation Kristina Pastukhova: "We identify three promising areas of cooperation with the Kyrgyz Republic. The first goal is to increase trade turnover between the Kyrgyz Republic and the Krasnoyarsk Territory. The second goal is to localize companies that implement their investment projects in the Krasnoyarsk Territory, in the Kyrgyz Republic. And thirdly, we invite entrepreneurs from Kyrgyzstan to localize their production here in the Krasnoyarsk Territory."
Elena Nedbaylo, Acting Head of the Tourism Agency of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, made a presentation on the tourism potential of the region. She noted that in 2023, 2 million tourist trips were recorded in the Krasnoyarsk Territory, and the increase in tourists in the region amounted to 20.2%.
Recall that the XI Russian-Kyrgyz Interregional Conference was held in Krasnoyarsk on July 10-11, 2024. The interregional conference was attended by more than 600 delegates from Russia and Kyrgyzstan. The signing of agreements and memoranda significant for the development of cooperation between the two countries took place at the event site.
