As part of the implementation of the project for the development of the Krasnoyarsk heat supply system included in the Yeniseiskaya Sibir KIP, two more new electric filters were put into operation at the Krasnoyarsk CHPP-1. At the moment, 11 of the 15 planned units of environmental protection equipment have been built.
At the same time, the main equipment of CHP-1 is being updated. The installation of two new boilers is in the final stage. They will replace the equipment that has run out of life and, like other boilers, will be equipped with modern electric filters with an efficiency of cleaning solid particles over 99%. According to the environmental modernization program, such filters will replace the existing environmental protection equipment at Krasnoyarsk CHPP-1. After completion of all activities, the station's emissions of solid particles will decrease by 80%.
Oleg Bubnovsky, General Director of Yeniseiskaya TGK, SGK division in the Yeniseiskaya Siberia region: "CHP-1 complied with environmental standards before the start of modernization. The program that is planned and implemented at the station, in fact, is a response to the challenges of the time, improving the quality characteristics of work, taking into account modern technologies. The modernization is going on without stopping work, the station continues to provide heat to residents of the city and supplies the necessary electricity. This is a unique example."
It should be noted that since 2021, an online emission monitoring system has been operating at all Krasnoyarsk thermal power plants, the measurement data of which are transmitted to the supervisory authorities and published on the SGK website in the "Ecology" section.
