In the Chinese city of Xiamen, on the sidelines of the 24th China International Trade and Investment Fair (CIFIT 2024), a presentation of the investment potential of the regions of the Russian Federation took place. The event, initiated by the Russian Trade Mission in China and the CIFIT 2024 organizing Committee, has become a significant platform for discussing investment opportunities in Russian regions.
Mikhail Krutskikh, representative of the Yenisei Siberia Development Corporation in China, made a presentation on the investment potential of the Krasnoyarsk Territory.
"For several years, the People's Republic of China has been ranked first in terms of trade turnover, exports and imports among the main trading partners of the Krasnoyarsk Territory," Mikhail Krutskikh noted.
The participants of the event were told about the implementation of the complex investment project "Yenisei Siberia" and specific proposals for business development in the Krasnoyarsk Territory. Among the promising areas for cooperation were the creation of logistics hubs, projects in the field of mechanical engineering, the creation of tourist facilities, the creation of innovative industries. In particular, partners from China were told about the possibilities of localization of enterprises in the special economic zone of the industrial and production type "Krasnoyarsk Technological Valley". In addition, potential Chinese investors were presented with investment projects in Yenisei Siberia, such as the construction of a mining and processing plant, the processing of sawmilling and woodworking waste, the development and production of innovative vehicles, and others.
The presentation brought together more than a hundred heads of leading companies from the five–million-strong city of Xiamen, the center of the special economic zone of the same name, which is the largest port of Fujian Province - the trade gateway of the People's Republic of China on the coast of the Taiwan Strait. After the presentation of the investment potential of the Russian regions, B2B meetings were held, which were attended by about 100 representatives of commercial organizations and enterprises from the Chinese side.
