Chinese investors intend to participate in the implementation of projects in the field of woodworking in the Krasnoyarsk Territory

A delegation of the People's Republic of China visited Krasnoyarsk on a working visit. At the Yenisei Siberia Development Corporation, the heads of forestry and trade and economic Chinese companies met with the initiators of investment proposals in the field of woodworking and wooden house construction planned for implementation in the Krasnoyarsk Territory.
Potential Chinese investors were presented with investment proposals for the creation of production of wooden houses and ready-made house kits, production of CLT panels and OSB and chipboard plates; woodworking production in the south of the Krasnoyarsk Territory; production of wood biochar and fuel briquettes from sawmill waste.
Deputy General Director – Head of the Directorate for Foreign Economic Activity of the Yenisei Siberia Development Corporation Natalia Abramova: "Cooperation between the Krasnoyarsk Territory and the People's Republic of China in the field of woodworking is a very promising area today. Attracting investors to this industry is an absolute priority for us. In particular, the region is interested in creating high-tech industries for deep processing of forestry products, as well as industries using raw materials from waste."
Representatives of Chinese companies expressed interest in the implementation of these projects. Following the results of the event, an agreement was reached to continue discussing possible cooperation within the framework of the visit of the regional delegation to Shanghai, which will take place from November 2-6.
