The Krasnoyarsk Territory's project to create a fleet of unmanned aircraft systems has won the award of the PROF-IT competition

The XII All-Russian Forum of Regional Informatization "PROF-IT.2024" and the competition of the same name have ended in the Skolkovo Technopark. The winner in the nomination "The use of unmanned technologies in public administration" was the project of the Krasnoyarsk Territory to create a fleet of unmanned aircraft systems (UAS).
The Krasnoyarsk Territory participates in the implementation of the national project "Unmanned Aviation Systems" and the Strategy for the development of unmanned aviation in the Russian Federation for the period up to 2030 and for the future up to 2035. In the region, the UAS fleet is used to carry out forest protection work – it patrols the area, determines the area of fires, and monitors compliance with forest legislation. Including in remote and hard-to-reach places.
This year, 51 quadrocopters and 5 aircraft-type UAVs are involved in forest patrol. By the end of the year, 22 more quadrocopters will be purchased for the forestry industry as part of the national project "Unmanned Aviation Systems", and 5 aircraft–type UAVs will be purchased at the expense of the regional budget. A preliminary requirement has been formed for 2025, which includes 15 aircraft-type UAVs and 93 quadrocopters.
One of the flagship companies for the production of UAS in the Krasnoyarsk Territory is the scientific and production enterprise AVAX-Geoservice. It is engaged in the development and production of unmanned aerial vehicles, flight control systems, digital communication systems and complexes, propulsion systems, as well as development work in the field of UAS.
