At the second Russian-Chinese Investment Development and Trade Cooperation Forum in Shenyang, Liaoning Province, a presentation of the investment potential of the Krasnoyarsk Territory was held.
The event was attended by more than 1,000 Chinese enterprises interested in entering the Russian market and carrying out trade, production and investment activities in Russia.
Mikhail Krutskikh, a representative of the Yenisei Siberia Development Corporation, made a presentation on the investment and economic potential of the Krasnoyarsk Territory. He presented key investment niches in the agro-industrial and timber industry, as well as in the manufacturing industry, mining and tourism.
More than 30 Chinese companies have expressed interest in cooperation in the implementation of investment projects in the Krasnoyarsk Territory, in particular in the processing of aluminum and forest waste.
Meetings were held separately to discuss cooperation in the fields of trade, tourism and cross-border logistics. As a result, an agreement was reached on further elaboration of projects, selection of land plots and measures of state support.
