Individual entrepreneur Samvel Antonyan, who received the status of a resident of the Arctic zone of the Russian Federation with the assistance of the Yenisei Siberia Development Corporation and the Norilsk Development Agency, reconstructed an uninhabited building into a three-storey hotel complex "Severgrand". The total investment in the project amounted to more than 70 million rubles. The implementation of the project allowed to increase the number of rooms in Norilsk, as well as create about 20 new jobs.

The hotel is located in the very center of Norilsk, on Leninsky Prospekt, 23. On three floors there are 25 rooms of various categories and a restaurant of Georgian cuisine, and by autumn it is planned to open a lobby bar.

"The first guests came to us on March 28. We get very pleasant reviews from the guests. Of course, people like fresh modern renovation, good room decoration, soft towels, high–quality bed linen, beautiful expensive furniture – all of it, by the way, is made to order for Severgrand, - says Nadezhda Efanova, the manager of the hotel complex. "We offer our guests comfortable rooms, premium service and warm Arctic hospitality."

The AZRF regime allows a resident to enjoy tax benefits and preferences. So, over the course of 10 years, the total tax burden on the investment project will be reduced by 1.5 times.

Recall that the Russian Arctic is the largest economic zone with a single set of tax and administrative preferences for conducting investment activities. Currently, 26 residents are implementing their projects in the Arctic zone of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, and the total investment amount is 37.1 billion rubles. The functions of the management company for working with residents of the Arctic zone in the Krasnoyarsk Territory are performed by the Yenisei Siberia Development Corporation.

An agreement was signed between the Yenisei Siberia Development Corporation and the Far East and Arctic Development Corporation aimed at implementing joint projects in the field of sustainable development of the Arctic territories of the Krasnoyarsk Territory. The document provides for the joint development of recommendations to improve the quality of life of the population, as well as joint participation in activities related to the implementation of investment projects in the Arctic zone of the region.
