Work continues at Krasnoyarsk CHPP-1 and CHPP-3 within the framework of the SGK investment project for the development of the city's heat supply system included in the Yeniseiskaya Sibir KIP. The project involves a comprehensive environmental modernization and expansion of the Krasnoyarsk CHPP-1, as well as an increase in the capacity of the Krasnoyarsk CHPP-3.
The foundation for a new turbine is being installed at the CHPP-1 industrial site. Specialists are already installing the reinforcing frame, after which they will start pouring concrete. The installation of the foundation is planned to be completed by the end of this year, then the turbine assembly will begin at the CHP. In total, two new turbines will be installed at CHP-1: generators for them have already been delivered to the station from Novosibirsk. In addition, two new boilers are planned to be commissioned in the near future.
The upgrade of the main equipment is part of the CHPP–1 environmental modernization program, which started in 2018. During this time, the station has undergone major changes. In place of three old pipes from 105 to 120 meters, one with a height of 275 meters was erected. 11 out of 15 electrofilters with 99% solid particle capture efficiency have been put into operation. The total amount of investments in the modernization of CHP-1 is 22 billion rubles.
A dry slag and ash removal project is being implemented at Krasnoyarsk CHPP-3, which is part of the reconstruction of the station aimed at increasing heat and electricity generation through the construction of a second power unit. Its launch will create additional opportunities for the development of the energy system of Krasnoyarsk and Siberia as a whole.
The expansion of the plant's capacity is carried out taking into account compliance with all requirements of environmental legislation. So, in addition to the dry slag and ash removal system, a new electrofilter with a cleaning efficiency of over 99% is being built at CHP-3 in order to reduce emissions into the atmospheric air. In addition, the company complies with the requirements of the Water Code. A hydraulic engineering structure, a tower cooling tower, was erected on the industrial site of the heat source. It will cool the water circulating in the second power unit, which will significantly reduce the thermal load on the Yenisei. The total amount of investments in the construction of the second power unit and the reconstruction of the Krasnoyarsk CHPP-3 is 27.5 billion rubles.
