The investment and economic potential of the Krasnoyarsk Territory was presented in Turkey

As part of the visit of the regional delegation to Istanbul, the International Investment Forum of Cooperation between the Krasnoyarsk Territory and the Republic of Turkey was held.
The event was attended by representatives of the authorities of the Krasnoyarsk Territory and Turkey, the Trade Representative Office of the Russian Federation in the Republic of Turkey, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation in the Republic of Turkey, the foreign representative office of JSC Russian Export Center in the Republic of Turkey, the Yenisei Siberia Development Corporation, as well as regional and Turkish entrepreneurs.
Olga Korosteleva, Head of the Department of External Relations of the Governor of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, addressed the participants of the event with a welcoming speech: "The Krasnoyarsk Territory is one of the largest and dynamically developing regions of Russia. Among the regions of Russia, our region is confidently leading in terms of key macroeconomic indicators, such as gross regional product and industrial production. In terms of the scale of attracted investments, we are the leader in Siberia and are among the top ten Russian regions in this indicator. Turkey ranks sixth among 87 trading partner countries of the Krasnoyarsk Territory. Today's presentation is a continuation of the dialogue started during previous visits, as well as the result of the work of representatives of the Yenisei Siberia Development Corporation in Turkey. I am sure that thanks to our joint efforts, our cooperation will actively develop."
Natalia Abramova, Deputy Director General and Head of the Directorate for Foreign Economic Activity of the Yenisei Siberia Development Corporation, made a presentation on the investment potential of the Krasnoyarsk Territory. Natalia Abramova also spoke about the implementation of the Yenisei Siberia integrated investment project and presented the industrial and investment opportunities that the Krasnoyarsk Territory can offer to Turkish entrepreneurs. First of all, these are initiatives related to the development of the timber and agro-industrial complex, projects in the field of industry and metalworking. Among the promising areas for cooperation are the creation of medical products and equipment production facilities, projects in the field of mechanical engineering, and the creation of tourist facilities. Special attention is paid to knowledge-intensive industries, that is, projects related to the creation of innovative industries.
The investment forum continued with B2B negotiations between Krasnoyarsk entrepreneurs and interested potential Turkish partners: in total, more than 60 participants attended the meetings.
A significant result of the business forum was the signing of agreements. Thus, documents on interaction and cooperation were signed between the Yenisei Siberia Development Corporation and the medical pharmaceutical industrial company (BM MEDICAL ILAÇ SANAYI TICARET LIMITED ŞIRKETI), as well as the Turkish company IMTELSAN ELEKTRIK SANAYI TICARET LIMITED ŞIRKETI.
