AZRF resident to build base for maintenance of special equipment with heating from mining farm

Engineering and Technical Center LLC will create a service facility for specialized machines in Norilsk by 2027. The complex will be heated by the heat from the mining plant. The profit from its operation will cover the cost of electricity. Under an agreement with the Corporation for the Development of the Far East and the Arctic (KRDV), the new AZRF resident will invest 33.2 million rubles in the project.
The company will build a garage for special equipment, a transformer substation, and purchase a front loader and farm equipment.
Vadim Yemelyanov, Director of Engineering and Technical Center LLC: "The growth in demand for special equipment in Norilsk is associated with housing renovation, infrastructure modernization and reconstruction of industrial district facilities. The services of such equipment are seasonal, and heating is required nine months a year. Using our own 150 kW mining plant will make the business more profitable."
The AZRF is the largest economic zone with preferential tax and administrative conditions for investors. 33 residents are implementing their initiatives in the Krasnoyarsk Territory, with total investments reaching 4.2 billion rubles. The functions of the management company of the Arctic zone in the Krasnoyarsk Territory are performed by the Yenisei Siberia Development Corporation.

Anastasia Zhuk, Deputy Director of the KRDV Investment Project Support Department, emphasized that the preferential treatment of the Russian Arctic offers entrepreneurs compensation for insurance premiums, exemption from land taxes for the first 5 years, reduced income tax rates, administrative support and full business support at all stages.
