Polymetal is increasing ore production at the Veduginskoye deposit in the Krasnoyarsk Territory

The mining company Amikan (part of Polymetal) continues to implement the Veduga investment project in the North Yenisei region of the Krasnoyarsk Territory. The investment project is included in the Yenisei Siberia CIP.
The company is building a processing plant, which is scheduled to be launched in the second half of 2026. It will process up to 2.2 million tons of ore annually. One of the main tasks today is the procurement of raw materials.
Currently, 24 dump trucks with a lifting capacity of 90 tons, modern drilling rigs, as well as excavators, including electric ones, are involved in the mining and transportation of ore. The staff of the open–pit mining site has been doubled, and in general, more than 800 people have already been employed at Amikan, compared to less than 400 a year earlier.
Alexey Sharabarin, Managing Director of the Amikan Mining Company: "Veduga's career has not just grown, he has matured, one might say. The professional backbone has been fully formed, and young specialists are increasingly gaining their first production experience with us. Mining processing will reach full capacity in July, and by the time the processing plant is launched, one of the main tasks will be completed – the ore reserve necessary for processing will be formed."
In June, the company launched its own production of emulsion explosives. This will increase the volume of blasting operations to ensure the implementation of the ore extraction plan.
