
Issues of socio-economic development of the territory were discussed in Borodino. The working trip was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation, the Government of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, large enterprises, as well as specialists from the Yenisei Siberia Development Corporation.
The participants visited the Borodino coal mine and the Borodino Mechanical Repair Plant, where they got acquainted with their work and discussed development plans. Special attention was paid to the production of import-substituting products. In addition, the delegation visited the local company Baraulinsky Bakeries, whose products have gained popularity not only in Borodino, but also beyond its borders, which has become an example of the effectiveness of small business in a single-industry town.
At a meeting in the city administration, key aspects of Borodino's development were considered, including approaches to state support for single-industry towns.
Svetlana Sidelnikova, Deputy Minister of Economy and Regional Development of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, noted: "Now our task is to create a roadmap for the development of small and medium–sized businesses, as well as the infrastructural development of the urban environment. The Ministry of Economic Development has allocated 2 months for this work together with the CSR."
During the visit, specialists from the Yenisei Siberia Development Corporation held talks with local businesses, reviewed investment proposals and opportunities to attract foreign investment.
