The head of the region assessed the scale of construction and the progress of installation work on the new generating plant equipment. Mikhail Kotyukov stressed that the implementation of this project is of high importance. The launch of the new power unit will almost double the capacity of the station, which will significantly increase the reliability of heat supply in the regional capital. This will strengthen the energy framework of the region, provide a reliable foundation for the development of the territory and its industrial potential.

Simultaneously with the launch of the new power unit at CHPP-3, an electrostatic precipitator with an efficiency of cleaning fine dust emissions by more than 99% will start operating.

Oleg Bubnovsky, General Director of JSC Yeniseiskaya TGK (TGK-13), said that the implementation of environmental measures continues at Krasnoyarsk CHPP-1. To date, 11 electrostatic precipitators are operating there, two more are planned to be launched by the end of the year, and in 2026 their number will reach 15. The station's particulate emissions will decrease by 80%, and by 2026, the volume of emissions from SGK enterprises will decrease by 20%.
