Investment potential of Krasnoyarsk Region presented in Armenia

Last week, the delegation of the Krasnoyarsk Territory paid a working visit to Armenia. As a result, a package of agreements was concluded aimed at forming bilateral cooperation in the fields of education, tourism and investment development.
The central event of the visit was the presentation of the investment, economic and tourism potential of the Krasnoyarsk Territory at the site of the Trade Mission of the Russian Federation in Armenia.
The event was opened by Russia's Trade Representative to Armenia Sergey Solomin and Maxim Ermakov, Minister of Industry and Trade of the Krasnoyarsk Territory. The participants were presented with promising areas for cooperation, including metalworking, the timber industry, the IT industry, agriculture and tourism.
Maxim Ermakov, Minister of Industry and Trade of the Krasnoyarsk Territory: "This visit is an important step in building strong bridges between the business communities of the Krasnoyarsk Territory and Armenia. I am sure that direct business interaction, supported at the regional level, is the key to unlocking the full potential of our cooperation. The partner network being created today will become the basis for long-term and mutually beneficial projects."
Also during the visit, regional companies presented the export potential of their products to entrepreneurs from Armenia. The regional delegation included representatives of the Leader Group of Companies, a manufacturer of wagon houses, block–modular buildings and shift camps, the Krasnoyarsk amphibious plant Sever, Sibstroy LLC, specializing in the production of ballast-free rail tracks, and Perimeter company, which produces metal panels for cladding facades of buildings.
The working trip continued with a meeting of the regional delegation with the Governor of the Tavush region of the Republic of Armenia. The participants discussed the possibilities of cooperation, promising industrial cooperation projects, tourism and the implementation of investment projects. In addition, representatives of the Krasnoyarsk Territory visited the Ekotavush livestock and dairy processing complex and the IJ Grand Textile sewing factory.
The meetings resulted in the signing of cooperation agreements between the Yenisei Siberia Development Corporation and the Tavsho Orovel Foundation for Sustainable Food Systems, the Tourism Information Center of the Krasnoyarsk Territory and the Agency for Tourism Development of the Tavush Region, Siberian Federal University and the Ijevan branch of Yerevan State University.
