On September 29-30, the China (Changchun) Forum of Trade, Economic and Cultural Exchanges was held in Changchun-Russia 2025". The event was attended by representatives of official and business circles of Russia and China, including from the Krasnoyarsk and Primorsky Territories, the Amur Region, the Republics of Buryatia and Tatarstan, trade and industrial associations of the two countries and more than 130 Russian and Chinese businessmen.
The economic and investment potential of the Krasnoyarsk Territory was presented in the plenary part of the forum.
Natalia Abramova, Deputy Director General for Foreign Economic Affairs of the Yenisei Siberia Development Corporation: "China and Russia share a common history, we all remember this and are developing cooperation in the fields of economy, culture, education and science. This year marks the 15th anniversary of the establishment of twinning relations between Krasnoyarsk and Changchun, and we are taking part in the forum to strengthen these ties and make them more fruitful. We offer our Chinese partners cooperation in two key areas: increasing mutual trade turnover and localizing production facilities in the region, including in the Krasnoyarsk Technological Valley SEZ.
During a working trip to China, representatives of the Corporation visited enterprises in Changchun, Cangzhou and Baoding: Hebei Xinhuantong Transformer Manufacturing Co., Ltd. (manufacturer of electric transformers and their components), Beijing Zheng Shi Enviromental Engineering Co., Ltd. (industrial and household waste disposal, wastewater treatment), Cangzhou Yongli Precision Machinery Co., Ltd. (high-precision manufacturing of parts for mechanical engineering). The heads of enterprises were presented with the possibilities of localization of production in the Krasnoyarsk Territory. In addition, the participants of the meetings discussed technological cooperation.
The Investment Promotion Center in Cangzhou hosted a presentation of cooperation opportunities with the Krasnoyarsk Territory for representatives of the Chinese business community. The Chinese side expressed interest in arranging supplies of equipment, purchase of lumber and products of the agro-industrial complex in the region.
