The delegation of the Krasnoyarsk Territory took part in the III Russian-Chinese Investment Development and Trade Cooperation Forum. The event was held from October 23 to October 25 in Shenyang, Liaoning Province.

This year, the forum brought together more than 150 state-owned corporations of China and about 900 industrial and trading companies. The delegation of the Krasnoyarsk Territory included representatives of the Yenisei Siberia Development Corporation, the Siberian Interregional Public Organization "Chinese Community" and regional companies.


The forum's work was focused on four key areas: trade, investment, cross-border e-commerce and logistics. At the session on the development of Russian-Chinese cooperation in the investment sphere, the economic and investment potential of the Krasnoyarsk Territory was presented, and prospects for cooperation between the region and China were discussed.


Natalia Abramova, Head of the Investment Development Directorate of the Yenisei Siberia Development Corporation: "We offer our Chinese partners cooperation in two key areas: increasing mutual trade and localizing production facilities in the region, including in the Krasnoyarsk Technological Valley SEZ.


Anastasia Kuznetsova, Director of Dary Malinovka, spoke about the results of the business trip: "We are currently negotiating with a Chinese company to establish a joint venture for processing oatmeal. It will be located on the territory of the Russian-Chinese Commercial and Industrial Park in Shenyang." 


Representatives of Chinese companies also expressed interest in cooperation in the supply of woodworking products (pellets), the creation of high-tech industries and investment projects in the field of woodworking. The participants discussed cooperation in these areas at the B2B session.
