A new resident of the Arctic zone will open a bakery in Norilsk

Pilaf House Elite LLC plans to create a modern full–cycle bakery in Norilsk. The project is aimed at closing the shortage of fresh, high-quality bakery products in the Far North. The company received the status of a resident of the Arctic zone of the Russian Federation with the assistance of the Yenisei Siberia Development Corporation. The estimated investment volume is 65 million rubles.
According to the initiator of the project, the company will start operating in the spring of 2026. It is planned that 1-1.5 tons of bread, baguettes and bakery products will be produced per day in the bakery, the volume of output per month will be 33-45 tons.
Natalia Kovaleva, Head of the investment project: "This is a project to create a production facility that is vital for Norilsk, which will turn the high costs of the Far North into the main competitive advantage — freshness and stability of supplies. A company store will open on the territory of the bakery. In addition, we plan to conclude contracts for the supply of products to kindergartens, schools and canteens of Norilsk Nickel.
Currently, 41 residents are implementing projects in the Arctic zone of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, and the total investment amount is 4.7 billion rubles. As a result of the projects, 735 jobs are being created. The functions of the management company for working with residents of the Arctic zone in the Krasnoyarsk Territory are performed by the Yenisei Siberia Development Corporation.
