Kansk attracts co-investors to expand production of disposable wooden products

The Yenisei Siberia Development Corporation invites co-investors for the Silver Birch LLC project in the flagship city of Kansk. It is planned to increase the production capacity of single-use birch veneer products and enter new export markets. The required investment amount is 150 million rubles.
Currently, the factory's production area is 3,000 m2. During its operation, 400 billion birch veneer products were produced: cutlery, ice cream sticks and cosmetic spatulas. The products are sold in Russia and exported to Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Mongolia, China, and India.
Silver Birch is the only Russian company with a patent for heat treatment of wood. The investment project is based on scaling the technology used in production and the competencies of the team. The company conducts educational programs and cooperates with educational institutions to train specialists. The factory's development project was defended at the Skolkovo Business School.
The advantages are the absence of competitors, the availability of raw materials, and the high demand for environmentally friendly products. The co-investor will have the opportunity to benefit from government support measures at the federal and regional levels, as well as reimbursement of value added tax (VAT).
