Rapeseed processing plant launched in Achinsk

A rapeseed processing plant was put into operation in the main city of Achinsk. The volume of investments is 1.12 billion rubles.
The project is supported by the Yenisei Siberia Development Corporation.
Olga Korosteleva, General Director of the Yenisei Siberia Development Corporation: "The launch of a rapeseed processing plant is of great importance for the agro-industrial complex of the region. The project was supported by the Government of the Krasnoyarsk Territory and included in the long-term plan for the integrated socio-economic development of the city of Achinsk for the period up to 2035. The Corporation's specialists assisted the investor in obtaining a construction permit and interacting with regional and municipal authorities."
The investment project is being implemented by LLC "Food Group" (Barnaul) and JSC "Teks" (Achinsk) on the territory of the former grain receiving plant. The company will produce rapeseed oil and oilcake. At the first stage, the plant plans to process 200 tons of rapeseed per day, at the second stage – up to 1,000 tons per day. The implementation of the project will increase tax revenues to budgets of all levels, and more than 100 jobs will be created.
Director of LLC "Food Group" Dementi Glukhov: "The company will not only ensure stable demand for oilseeds, but will also create additional opportunities for the sale of agricultural products. In turn, this will increase the economic sustainability of local farms, which will be able to confidently increase their acreage."
It is planned that the plant's products will be exported to China. Chinese companies are ready to conclude long-term contracts and make an advance payment for the entire volume of production: oil and rapeseed cake. This will contribute to the development of production capacities and ensure stable demand for products for both Russian manufacturers and Chinese partners. Part of the cake will be supplied to livestock farms in the Krasnoyarsk Territory.
The Food Group also cooperates with agricultural producers of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, who are ready to provide their raw materials for processing at the new plant, followed by the purchase of oil and cake. According to the company's specialists, this initiative will be an important step in developing export potential and strengthening market positions. Direct cooperation will significantly improve work efficiency and ensure stable production and marketing of rapeseed products.
