Last week, a working visit of the delegation of the Krasnoyarsk Territory to Uzbekistan took place. As a result, a package of agreements was concluded aimed at forming bilateral cooperation in the field of investment development, trade and education.

28.11.2025

The central event of the visit was the presentation of the investment, economic and tourism potential of the Krasnoyarsk Territory in Tashkent. The event was attended by representatives of more than 40 companies and business associations of Uzbekistan. The participants were presented with promising areas for cooperation, including the agro-industrial complex, the organization of supplies of building materials and industrial equipment, woodworking and tourism.

Maxim Ermakov, Minister of Industry and Trade of the Krasnoyarsk Territory: "This visit is an important step in the development of mutually beneficial cooperation between the Krasnoyarsk Territory and Uzbekistan. I am sure that it will contribute to the expansion of business and partnership relations. The Krasnoyarsk Territory has high investment and industrial potential. We are developing preferential territories and offering partners from Uzbekistan to become residents of the Krasnoyarsk Technological Valley special Economic Zone and industrial parks. In addition, we are interested in exporting high-tech aluminum products, unmanned aircraft systems, all-terrain vehicles, and small vessels."

At B2B meetings, regional companies presented the potential of their products to entrepreneurs from Uzbekistan. The regional delegation included representatives of Teplaska LLC, a manufacturer of modular buildings, Woodmarket and Gorlesmet woodworking enterprises, Paketmarket LLC, specializing in the production of packaging materials, and Sky Technology 2015", which manufactures high-precision equipment for printing and processing materials.

Yuri Golub, Director of Woodmarket LLC, spoke about the results of the business trip: "A large developer from Uzbekistan expressed interest in implementing a joint investment project in the field of deep wood processing. Our site is located in the village of Pinchuga in the Boguchansky district of the Krasnoyarsk Territory. The project involves increasing production capacity to create high-value-added products. We are currently negotiating and discussing the terms of cooperation."

The negotiations resulted in the signing of a number of cooperation agreements.  One of them is between Teplaska LLC and East new energy development from Uzbekistan. The company is considering the possibility of acquiring quick-assembly modular buildings from a Krasnoyarsk manufacturer for use in the oil and gas industry. In addition, cooperation agreements were signed by the Yenisei Siberia Development Corporation and the National Center for Knowledge and Innovation in Agriculture of the Republic of Uzbekistan; the Union of Timber Producers of the Krasnoyarsk Territory and the Association of Furniture and Woodworking Industry Enterprises of Uzbekistan "MEYOS", Krasnoyarsk State Agrarian University and Termez State University of Engineering and Agrotechnology.

During the visit, the delegation also visited the Airitom Free Trade Zone in the city of Termez, Surkhandarya region. This is one of the largest cross-border trade development projects in Central Asia. The establishment of the STZ has significantly strengthened Uzbekistan's position as a regional logistics and trade hub. Following the visit, manufacturers of the Krasnoyarsk Territory are considering the possibility of organizing the export of products through the trade zone.

A return visit of the delegation of the Republic of Uzbekistan to the Krasnoyarsk Territory is expected in the spring of 2026.
