New AZRF resident to open crushed stone production facility in Norilsk

The Arctic Engineering construction company plans to start producing crushed stone of various fractions in Norilsk in 2027. The organization received the status of a resident of the Arctic zone of the Russian Federation with the assistance of the Yenisei Siberia Development Corporation and the Norilsk Development Agency.
To implement the project, a modern crushing and screening complex will be installed on a land plot of about 30 thousand m2. The basalt ore of the Dvugorbaya Mountain deposit will be processed here, followed by the production of crushed stone. It is also planned to create all the necessary infrastructure: the installation of a transformer substation for power supply, a wagon house for staff accommodation and storage facilities for own and rented special equipment. The estimated investment volume is 500 million rubles.
Viktor Ryabukhin, General Director of the Arctic Engineering Construction Company: "Norilsk is actively implementing a comprehensive development plan for the city until 2035. Therefore, projects aimed at creating production facilities for building materials are very relevant. The company will supply high-quality crushed stone to the domestic market at affordable prices, meeting the requirements of GOST. This will help to reduce the costs of construction companies in the region and improve the quality of their work. The project will also contribute to the development of the local economy, create new jobs, and increase tax revenues to budgets of all levels."
Currently, 41 residents are implementing projects in the Arctic zone of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, and the total investment amount is 4.7 billion rubles. As a result of the projects, 735 jobs are being created. The functions of the management company for working with residents of the Arctic zone in the Krasnoyarsk Territory are performed by the Yenisei Siberia Development Corporation.
