The regional engineering cluster will include new companies

The expansion of the Siberian Engineering industrial cluster was discussed at a working meeting between Maxim Ermakov, Minister of Industry and Trade of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, and the heads of leading enterprises.
The cluster was formed in 2024, the purpose of its creation is to support regional enterprises operating in the production of import–substituting industrial products. The specialized organization of the industrial cluster is the Yenisei Siberia Development Corporation.
Currently, the industrial cluster includes eight regional companies: Borus, ITS-Siberia, Quarry Machines, OKB Micron, Procyon, Remservisgarant, Technomir-Vostok and Innovative Airboats. By 2034, these enterprises plan to implement five investment projects in the region. The initiatives are aimed at the production of high-tech import-substituting products: off-road shift buses, front loaders, industrial robots, numerical control milling machines (CNC), as well as high-lift airboats. The total volume of investments in the projects exceeds 22.2 billion rubles. The plans include the inclusion of five more regional industrial enterprises of the Krasnoyarsk Territory in the cluster.
Maxim, Minister of Industry and Trade of the Krasnoyarsk Territory Ermakov: "The segments of mechanical engineering related to the production of electronics, equipment and vehicles show steady growth – this is a direct result of import substitution programs. Positive trends also persist in non-ferrous metallurgy."
The meeting participants also paid attention to the development of the special economic zone (SEZ). Krasnoyarsk Technological Valley. Now the SEZ infrastructure is fully formed. Two residents, Henkon Siberia and Spetstechnomash, are already working, while the rest of the projects are at the production launch stage.
