Regional small and medium-sized businesses are developing cooperation with large industrial customers

Two industry events were held in Krasnoyarsk, where companies of small and medium-sized businesses of the region presented samples of their products and services to large industrial customers. The purpose of the meetings was to establish direct business contacts and increase the supply of local goods for large investment projects.
The events focused on the construction and mining industries. Local manufacturers demonstrated product samples and technologies at exhibitions and presentations, and customers presented their needs.
Maxim Ermakov, Minister of Industry and Trade of the Krasnoyarsk Territory: "Our direct task is to ensure that every major investor coming to the region makes the most of the opportunities offered by local producers. We create a system environment for cooperation: we introduce businesses to each other, help SMEs adapt products to meet customer requirements. The growth of large projects should have a multiplier effect for the entire economy of the territory."
At the presentation session dedicated to the construction industry, representatives of SMEs showed products used in housing construction and major repairs: structures, finishing materials, engineering solutions. Construction companies have confirmed their interest in localizing supplies.
The next event was dedicated to the development of regional business cooperation with Polymetal JSC. The company announced large-scale plans for the development of the Veduginsky gold deposit (the project is included in the Yeniseiskaya Sibir CIP) and a new copper deposit. To implement these projects, a list of necessary goods and services has been formed: from metal structures and special equipment to logistics and IT solutions. The company carries out systematic work on the qualification and evaluation of new suppliers from the Krasnoyarsk Territory who meet corporate standards.
Evgeny Pushnoy, Director of the Krasnoyarsk branch of Polymetal: "Of course, we are interested in cooperation with manufacturers of the Krasnoyarsk Territory. Among the obvious advantages of simplified logistics, it is worth mentioning the territory's rich experience in mechanical engineering and the creation of innovative equipment. Closer acquaintance with individual industries will allow us to objectively assess the market and, I am sure, find future partners."
As a result of the meetings, the parties agreed to continue cooperation to discuss in detail the technical conditions and commercial parameters of potential cooperation.
