Regional development objectives and joint projects: VEB.Russia and Krasnoyarsk Territory expand cooperation

Chairman of VEB.Igor Shuvalov and Mikhail Kotyukov discussed the prospects for the implementation of new projects for the development of the Krasnoyarsk Territory.
At the bilateral meeting, they discussed joint initiatives to transform Krasnoyarsk for its 400th anniversary.
Mikhail Kotyukov, Governor of the Krasnoyarsk Territory: "The capital of the Krasnoyarsk Territory is preparing for its 400th anniversary. We are already implementing a large-scale program based on suggestions from citizens. These are not only festive events, but above all, this is a large–scale transformation of Krasnoyarsk. Landscaping, development of social, transport, and communal infrastructure. At the meeting, we once again discussed projects related to the appearance of the city of one million people, which is located in the very center of the country."
Igor Shuvalov and Mikhail Kotyukov, who heads the State Council's commission on Technological Leadership, also agreed to join forces to finance projects involving the technological development institutes of the VEB.RF group.
As a reminder, VEB and the Krasnoyarsk Territory have a long-term partnership. With the participation of the state corporation, eight investment projects worth a total of 1.3 trillion rubles are being implemented in the region. The amount of funding from VEB.The Russian Federation exceeds 511 billion rubles.
