A decree was signed on the establishment of an Investment Committee under the Governor of the Krasnoyarsk Territory

The Committee was established to create favorable conditions for conducting investment activities, protect the interests of investment entities, as well as resolve disagreements and disputes between investors and authorities during the implementation of investment projects implemented in the territory of the region.

The Investment Committee, in addition to the head of the region, included heads of regional ministries and departments, deputies of the Legislative Assembly, representatives of business associations. The presidium was designated as the working body of the committee, which was headed by Acting Chairman of the Government of the Krasnoyarsk Territory Sergey Vereshchagin.

Today, at the first meeting of the presidium, issues on measures to stimulate investment activity in the region were considered.

A lot of work has already been done in the region to create a favorable investment climate. The volume of investments in the economy of the Krasnoyarsk Territory is growing every year. According to preliminary statistics, in the first quarter of this year, investment growth amounted to 23.7%. Now it is important to maintain the momentum, for this purpose the Regional Investment Standard developed by the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia is being implemented in the region. Algorithms of investor's actions will be established to simplify interaction with authorities. It is also planned to create an investment map of the region – a geoinformation system that will collect the information necessary for investors from various departments.

In addition, at the meeting of the Presidium of the Investment Committee, new investment projects in the fields of agriculture and education, planned for implementation in the near future, were considered.

Noting the overall prospects of the projects, Sergey Vereshchagin instructed the ministries to further work out all aspects of the financial model and staffing of the projects, as well as the risks associated with the logistics of supplies and sales of products.

Recall that the Yenisei Siberia Development Corporation has been identified as a specialized organization for attracting investments and working with investors in the Krasnoyarsk Territory. Currently, 147 investment projects worth 2.56 trillion rubles are being supported by the Corporation in the Krasnoyarsk Territory. Of these, 27 initiatives of large companies with a total investment of 2.4 trillion rubles are included in the comprehensive investment project "Yenisei Siberia".
