Krasnoyarsk Territory and China expand international cooperation

A working meeting with a delegation from China was held at the Yenisei Siberia Development Corporation. The main topics of the talks are the implementation of joint educational projects, the development of cooperation, including in the trade and economic sphere.
The Chinese delegation included representatives of Shunmai Education Group, a private Chinese school, and Harbin Foreign Economic and Trade Group. Representatives of the Office of External Relations of the Governor of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, the Ministry of Education of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, the Yenisei Siberia Development Corporation and Krasnoyarsk higher educational institutions took part in the event from the Krasnoyarsk Territory.
Natalia Abramova, Deputy Director General and Head of the External Economic Activity Service of the Yenisei Siberia Development Corporation, addressed the participants of the event with a welcoming speech. She noted that there are long-term ties between the Krasnoyarsk Territory and China. The region is developing cooperation with Chinese partners in the fields of economy, education, and tourism.
Expansion of cooperation was discussed with Harbin Foreign Economic and Trade Group at the meeting. The company is already operating in the region in the field of international trade. The management plans to increase the volume of agricultural exports.
Representatives of the private Chinese school Shunmai Education Group expressed interest in cooperation with universities in Krasnoyarsk. The possibility of studying at local universities for schoolchildren from China, the mutual exchange of teachers, and the organization of summer training programs in China and Russia are being considered. Currently, Shunmai Education Group School has already established partnerships with many foreign educational institutions. Cultural exchanges are held during the holidays, which gives students the opportunity to broaden their horizons and develop communication skills.
At the end of the visit to Krasnoyarsk, representatives of the Chinese delegation visited universities, where they discussed in more detail the implementation of joint educational projects.
