The new resident of the TOP Zheleznogorsk will launch import-substituting production of industrial gloves

Guard TOR has become a new resident of the Zheleznogorsk Priority Development Area. The company will engage in import substitution in the segment of industrial personal protective equipment for hands, which is almost entirely occupied by foreign manufacturers.
The uniqueness of the products lies in the use of yarn with the addition of kevlar (heavy-duty synthetic fiber) and high-molecular-weight polyethylene yarn. This gives the gloves exceptional durability and wear resistance. The products will be in demand in the mining, manufacturing, and construction industries.
It is planned that in 2027 the company will reach its design capacity, producing more than 300 thousand pairs of gloves per year. At the first stage, 17 new jobs will be created here. In the future, the company intends to develop and patent new types of gloves, as well as obtain the status of a small technology company.
Maxim Ermakov, Minister of Industry and Trade of the Krasnoyarsk Territory: "We continue to increase the production of import-substituting products in the region. This project is not just new jobs, but a real alternative to foreign suppliers in a segment where there were practically no domestic solutions before. We will accompany the initiative and help to reach full capacity."
Currently, TOP Zheleznogorsk unites 27 resident companies, most of which are high-tech. A set of preferences is provided for residents, such as income, land and property tax benefits, and a free customs zone procedure is possible. More than 400 new jobs have been created, and investments have exceeded 550 million rubles.
