Ozon has commissioned a new warehouse complex with an area of more than 35,000 square meters in the Yemelyanovsky production and logistics complex in the village of Startsevo. The facility is part of an investment project to expand the logistics infrastructure of the region, implemented with the support of the Yenisei Siberia Development Corporation.
The new center provides a full cycle of goods processing: from acceptance to the formation and transfer of orders to the delivery service. The launch of the facility will allow regional manufacturers and suppliers to optimize logistics costs, and for residents of the region to reduce the time required to receive orders.
"The implementation of investment projects in the field of logistics today plays an important role in the development of the economy, and the Krasnoyarsk Territory has great potential in this area," said Maxim Ermakov, Minister of Industry and Trade of the Krasnoyarsk Territory. "For local entrepreneurs, launching a new warehouse means reducing logistics costs and quickly entering the market, while additional jobs and tax deductions are important for the regional economy."
After reaching full capacity, which is planned by the summer of this year, the complex will be able to store about 15 million items at a time, and the design processing capacity will be up to 400 thousand parcels per day. In May, the facility plans to launch automated conveyor equipment and a sorting system, which will increase the efficiency of using space and personnel.
"We are expanding Ozon's logistics infrastructure in the Krasnoyarsk Territory due to the steady growth in demand for online orders," said Alexander Startsev, Ozon's Chief Operating Officer. – By the end of 2025, the number of orders for Ozon in the region increased 2.1 times year-on-year. Already, every second resident of the region orders on our platform, and on average, 65% more orders per customer than a year earlier. We are happy to grow with the region: to make goods available even in the smallest villages and to support local businesses. The first shipments of parcels to customers will start on April 27."
This summer, the warehouse is planned to be brought to full capacity – this will allow storing about 15 million goods at a time and processing up to 400 thousand parcels per day. Investments of the digital platform in the technological infrastructure of the warehouse exceeded 2 billion rubles.
The Yemelyanovsky production and logistics complex, which is being built by MEGA-STROY-M, belongs to classes A and A+ and meets strict requirements for engineering systems and operational characteristics. Since 2022, the investor has been supported by the Yenisei Siberia Development Corporation. The organization provided assistance in registration of land and property relations, interaction with resource supply organizations, as well as in obtaining permits. Currently, the Corporation is assisting the investor in attracting new residents to the Yemelyanovsky production and logistics complex.
