
A delegation of the Republic of Azerbaijan headed by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Rakhman Mustafayev visited Krasnoyarsk.
The main purpose of the visit is to strengthen cooperation and expand trade, economic, educational and cultural ties.
Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan Rahman Mustafayev: "The Krasnoyarsk Territory is one of the leading regions of Russia in terms of economic and tourism potential. It is the geographical center of Russia and the center of Asia. Today we are discussing the issues of intensifying relations between Azerbaijan and the Krasnoyarsk Territory. Our representatives have not been here for many years, and the potential for mutually beneficial bilateral cooperation is huge, so we decided to discuss issues of intensifying dialogue and cooperation in the trade and economic sphere, investments, humanitarian and cultural contacts."
A delegation from Azerbaijan met with the business community of the Krasnoyarsk Territory at the Rossiya National Center. Representatives of the Central Siberian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Office of External Relations of the Governor of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, the Yenisei Siberia Development Corporation, and the Export Support Center (a structural unit of the Moy Biznes regional center) also took part in the event.
The Corporation's employees presented opportunities for joint projects in the tourism, industrial and agricultural sectors and spoke about the organization's activities.
Head of the Investment Development Directorate of the Corporation Valeria Stupina: "The Yenisei Siberia Development Corporation provides support to investors at all stages – from registration of permits to connection to engineering infrastructure and launch. We offer various areas of cooperation to foreign investors, including localization of production facilities in the Krasnoyarsk Territory."
Representatives of the Republic of Azerbaijan expressed interest in conducting business missions, as well as continuing negotiations at the upcoming St. Petersburg International Economic Forum.
